Hope Family Center is a daycare and preschool facility located in El Sobrante, California for over 40 years. We have been an active participant for the First 5 California program since March of 2008 and is one of the preferred Early Childhood Education facility in our area.
Our Curiculum
Program & Format
Our program structure includes at least a 1 hour and 45 minutes, age-appropriate morning class, included in this time frame children are exposed to the planned daily curriculum of allowed snack time, choice of variety activity centers, which allows children to interact with the environment as curiosity invites exploration.
Hope Preschool also incorporates sign language, music, stories and songs. Teachers will take information from the child's screening/assessments and the child's interest to plan age appropriate activities according to the monthly themes.

Our Values
We follow the guidelines as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) defines it, Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Which is a framework of principles and guidelines for best practice in the care and education of young children, birth through age 8. It is grounded both in the research on how young children develop and learn and in what is known about education effectiveness. The principles and guidelines outline practice that promotes young children's optimal learning and development.

Religious Teachings
Every Wednesday morning the 2-5 year old children gather in Hope’s sanctuary for chapel, where we enjoy inspirational songs, bible stories and prayer.

Additional activities are provided by teachers, like weekly Spanish class, etc. Call for fees and latest class offerings.
